How to promote the construction of digital government with high quality? On Nov. 17, at the Data Sharing Enabling Digital Government High Quality Development Forum held online, well-known domestic experts and scholars and typical enterprise representatives had in-depth discussions on how to promote efficient sharing and orderly development and utilization of government data and accelerate the construction of digital government.

Wang Yimin, director of the E-Government Research Center of the Party School of the Central Committee (National Academy of Governance) and deputy director of the National E-government Expert Committee, focused on analyzing the construction of China's integrated government big data system. He believes that the construction of government big data system faces challenges such as the improvement of government data overall management mechanism, the improvement of data basic system, and the improvement of government data sharing quality. With the release of the Guidelines for the Construction of the National Integrated Government Big Data System, it will clarify the relationship between the national platform and the local department platform, establish a national integrated government data sharing, exchange and service system centered on the national government big data platform, effectively promote the vertical and horizontal connectivity of government data, and vigorously advance the construction of the national integrated government big data system.

On the forum, Feng Lanxiao, vice president of China Unicom’s government enterprise BG, delivered a speech with the theme of Innovative Practice of Digital Intelligence Enabling Government Digital Governance.

In Hebei, China Unicom actively participated in the construction of a digital government and achieved a series of positive results. Among them, the blockchain project of electronic statistical ledger built in Xiong’an New Area is the first electronic statistical ledger of blockchain enterprises in China, which ensures that the decision-making analysis of government departments is reliable, accurate and efficient. The electronic license blockchain of Hebei Provincial Government Affairs Service Office, built by China Unicom Hebei Branch, has achieved the goal of the electronic licenses of the whole province having been realized the issuance is credible and manageable, the use can be known and controlled, and the province’s interconnection and mutual trust.
